Left back mirror was broken suddenly the other day.
But, Mirror had not any damage or stress until now.
RX3 has never turned over before.
They had only vibration while riding.

It looks like plastic fatigue due to materials problem.
Anyway, I replaced another similar third party’s one.
New one is a little bit shorter for 2 cm than original one
but mirror shape is very similar, looking good.

I found left back mirror was broken at end of moving axle of plastic.
Then, I replaced another third party’s one at 9,300 km mileage.
The left back mirror had not any damage until now.
It looks like plastic fatigue due to materials problem.

Engine stall does not occur after adjusting valve clearance.
Engine feeling is very good.

Impression of RX3 after 7,500km mileage.
(One year has passed for riding RX3 on Dec.31, 2016)
1) After around over 5,000km mileage, engine stall has occurred sometimes
while running at any gear position. Frequency of engine stall is 3 or 4 times
for one day riding for around 200km.
2) Regarding feeling of gear changing, it has still been hard to find
neutral position. Changing touch is stiff and it is not smoothly also.
I recommend Zongshen to improve gear changing touch.
Impression of RX3 after 1,500km mileage. (March 22, 2016)
1) Accuracy of mounting brackets for pannier cases are not good so that
some minute adjustment is necessary.
2) Steering angle is a little bit narrow.
3) Seat position is a little bit higher and center of gravity is as well because of
big 16 L fuel tank, I feel. It seems like a same feeling on HONDA CRF250L.
4) Quality of finish touches (gloss and smoothness) of metal, resin and paint
parts are a little bit worse than other makers, I feel.
5) Regarding air filter maintenance, lid of air filter is fixed by six bolts
but one of bolts is existing at blind spot.
6) It is very hard to find neutral position of gear for the beginning
but it is easy to find neutral after 1,000km mileage.
7) Regarding LCD display, I feel displayed digital speed is around 10km ahead.
I am now asking Zongshen about this problem.
8) All lamps are LED lights except number plate light.
These are very reliable lights system for adventure.
9) High wind shield, total 98L capacity of top case and two panniers,
12V cigar socket and USB connector as a standard equipment,
these are very useful and enough for long touring.
10) Engine condition is getting better after 1,000km mileage.
Fuel consumption is over 31km/l so that cruising distance is 500km
for one time refueling.
11) This engine is high rotation type ( max torque is 7,000r.p.m )
so that it is necessary to keep turning engine.
12) Alternator power of RX3 is 300W, normally usage power is 160W.
Therefore 140W is available for other accessories.
This is very excellent design as adventure bike.
13) Document or service manual is not optimum and not latest.
It seems version management is a little bit poor.
Maintenance torque value is minimum on the manual.
There is small description of metal and rubber gasket maintenance
interval on manual. Therefore, I edited Japanese user manual
by reference to third party’s manual.(^0^;
14) Maintenance parts like oil filter, air filter and gaskets and so on
have already reached in around one month after purchase order.
In general, Zongshen’s feed back for user’s request is reasonable.
15) Front tire rim size is 18, and rear rim size is 15 tubeless depends
on my request, but compatible tubeless rear tire 15 may not exist
except Cheng shin. I might have to consider tube tires setting in near future.
After all, touch of riding, performance, serviceability and cost are pretty good,
satisfactory and enough for long touring, I want to keep this.
In addition to above, it is estimated no one has this RX3 in Japan,
then there is pleasure to spread this bike in Japan as a pioneer.(^0^;
